The stone framing in the entrance hall — 16th century

As you step into the house, on the right side of the entrance hallway, you can see the frame of a bricked door. Originally, these stone surrounds were painted in bright colors that have faded over time. The door, now bricked up, opened into the workshop and, later, into the shop in the street.
